In the year 2003, according to the collaboration agreement of the scientific-research institutions constituting Ochota Campus, a ATC BIM Consortium was created. In 2004 the Consortium was granted a status of the Advanced Technologies Center BIM by the Ministry of the Science and Informatization. The Consortium included: Warsaw University (the coordinator), Medical University of Warsaw, The Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Polish Academy of Sciences Medical Research Center, International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology and Pharmaceutical Research Institute in Warsaw.

In September 2005 our Consortium received financial support from the European Union resources according to the Sectoral Operational Programme "Improvement of the Competitiveness of Enterprises” (SPO ICE) for the Structural Research Laboratory (SRL) scientific and research equipment.

In the consequence of the decision of the Authorities of the University of Warsaw Chemistry Department, the NMR spectrometer 700MHz purchased in 2006 from FNiT funds has also been included in the Structural Research Laboratory equipment.
